The project is located in Prowers County, Colorado and covers 900 acres along the prolific Carboniferous Morrow sandstone trend.  These sandstones typically exhibit 20–30% porosities and 1-2 Darcy permeabilities with historic wells demonstrating recoverable reserves between 250,000 and 500,000 barrelsof oil per well. Existing fields lie to the north and south of the project area and in the late 1980s Texaco discovered several new fields using initial geochemical soil gas surveys.

Running Foxes is currently correlating the geology to determine areas of potential new Morrow or Mississippian reservoirs. Osceola has acquired, processed and re-interpreted an aeromagnetic survey designed to define fault trends usually associated with petroleum charged traps.Further surface geochemical data will be acquired in Spring of 2009.
